Local Organizations

Bona Vista builds the foundation of success for children and adults, regardless of abilities, through encouragement, independence and inclusion in reaching their maximum potential.

Bridges Outreach exists to bridge churches, schools, and communities through programming that feeds, tutors and mentors at-risk youth. Bridges Outreach creates windows of opportunity with hopes of developing each student academically, socially, emotionally and spiritually.

CAM Inc. provides hope for the homeless in the community.

Church Women United is a national ecumenical Christian women's movement representing multiple Christian faith communities to be local multicultural, inter-generational communities uniting for support, study, prayer, and action for social justice.

EquiVenture offers disabled individuals in the Kokomo Indiana area the opportunity to enjoy the therapeutic and recreational benefits of horseback riding. The focus is to help meet the physical, mental, behavioral, and social challenges of their special needs.

FCA's mission is to lead every coach and athlete into a growing relationship with Jesus Christ and His church. We partner with this ministry through Kyle Condon.

"Real People. Real Change. Real Results." The Gilead House offers free, personalized outreach programs and services for broken, forgotten and hopeless men, women, and their children. They provide educational and training programs that equip people with the tools they need to succeed at home, work, and in their local communities.

Kokomo Human Society's mission is to improve the lives of animals, prevent cruelty through education, and unite pets with families.

The Kokomo Park Band is dedicated to enriching the cultural life of the community by providing performances of broad appeal and high artistic quality, creating musical opportunities for local youth, engaging the talents of area musicians, and preserving the great heritage of American band music in North Central Indiana.

The Kokomo Rescue Mission proclaims the Good News and demonstrates the compassion of Jesus Christ to the homeless, hungry and hurting. KRM’s mission is to see the homeless, hungry and hurting achieve wholeness through Christ-centered programs and services.

KUO's mission is to help young people transition successfully into adulthood by teaching them to be respectful, responsible, reliable, and ready to work, to lead, to speak up, and to solve problems in a positive way.

The YMCA's mission is to put Christian principles into practice through programs that build healthy spirit, mind and body for all.

Living Alternatives is committed to saving the lives of unborn children by promoting life-affirming options and providing practical assistance, while sharing the gospel of Jesus Christ in word and deed, and to minister restoration to those who have been wounded by the trauma of abortion.

The Salvation Army, an international movement, is an evangelical part of the universal Christian Church. Its mission is to preach the gospel of Jesus Christ and to meet human needs in His name without discrimination. 

"Supporting Independence" They exist
to help people 65 and over who still
live independently in their own homes.

BSA Sagamore Council provides fun, adventure, learning, challenge, and responsibility to help youth become the best version of themselves.

We Care is primarily a fund raising effort held the first full weekend of December each year. It is an all volunteer organization with 100% of all funds raised disbursed to selected local organizations that provide assistance to the disadvantaged and less fortunate as well as the mentally and physically challenged within our community.

National & Global Organizations

Chi Alpha's mission is to reconcile students to Christ, equipping them through spirit-filled communities of prayer, worship, fellowship, discipleship, and mission to transform the university, the marketplace and the world. 

Chosen People Ministries exists to pray for, evangelize, disciple, and serve Jewish people everywhere and to help fellow believers do the same. They exist to glorify God, proclaim the Gospel to the Jew first and also to the Gentile, and develop resources and programs to accomplish this task. 

Cru is a community passionate about connecting people to Jesus Christ.
Their purpose is helping to fulfill the Great Commission in the power of the Holy Spirit by winning people to faith in Jesus Christ, building them in their faith and sending them to win and build others and helping the body of Christ to do evangelism and discipleship through a variety of creative ways.
 

"Everyone Deserves a Life Free From Hunger and Poverty" Heifer International works in countries around the world alongside local farmers and business owners. The organization supports farmers and their communities as they mobilize and envision their futures, provide training so they can improve the quantity and quality of the goods they produce, and connections to market to increase sales and incomes. 

The Navigators is a ministry that shares the gospel of Jesus and helps people grow in their relationship with Him through Life-to-Life® discipleship, creating spiritual generations of believers. Since its founding in 1933, The Navigators has upheld the mission “To know Christ, make Him known, and help others do the same®.” 

One17's mission is to build and operate schools for the left behind in places of urgent physical and spiritual need. Their vision is to see hope through education for the left behind & open doors for students, regardless of age, gender, ability, or economic status. Seeing students discovering their role in God’s story and stepping through doors of opportunity to transform cultures and communities.

Samaritan’s Purse is a nondenominational evangelical Christian organization providing spiritual and physical aid to hurting people around the world. The organization serves the Church worldwide to promote the Gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ. 

Save the Storks exists to inspire cultural change by shaping compelling pro-life narratives and empowering strategic partners to serve and value every life. They take action through advocacy & awareness, church engagement, supporting pregnancy centers, mobile medic units, and more.

Shepherds College exists to educate and train students with intellectual and developmental disabilities by equipping them to reach Appropriate Independence™ through the development of vocational, social, and life skills while inspiring a lasting awareness of God’s plan for their lives. 

World Vision is an international partnership of Christians whose mission is to follow our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ in working with the poor and oppressed to promote human transformation, seek justice, and bear witness to the good news of the Kingdom of God.
